Beth Saunders is a PhD student at Aberystwyth University. She is interested in the role of faith-based organisations and Christian volunteers in the pursuit of social, environmental and ecological justice in Africa. Her PhD focuses specifically on rural Tanzania and Kenya. Beth’s PhD is part of a 5-year ERC funded project called the GLOBAL-RURAL, which seeks to understand the workings and impact of globalization in rural regions across the world.
