Management & Co-Ordination

The project is co-ordinated and overseen by a steering group, consisting of the following members:

• Dr Dereje Feyissa Dori (facilitator of Ethiopia-related efforts)
• Professor Surinder Jodkha (facilitator India-related efforts)
• Shabaana Kidy (representative for project partner Islamic Relief)
• Naomi Popple (project co-ordinator)
• Dr Afework Hailu (Ethiopia expertise, esp. on Orthodox and Protestant Christianity)
• Dr Dena Freeman (Ethiopia expertise, anthropological focus on religions and development)
• Dr Paul D'Souza (India expertise)

The steering group meets regularly in conjunction with all project activities. Steering group members also serve as editors, contributors, and co-ordinators of our various networking and output activities.

In addition to the steering group, the following experts are consulted as senior advisers:
